Great Lakes, the
provider of our gift cards, allows us to purchase gift cards at a discounted price
only available to certain fundraising groups. These are discounts not
available to individuals. The discount percentage varies from store to
store, but every time you purchase you can earn tuition dollars for
yourself and dollars for the school which we apply to the general
budget.
For example; Shop
Rite’s discount is 5%. If you purchase $100 in Shop Rite gift cards the
total profit from that sale would be $5.00. $2.50 would be deposited in
a tuition rebate account for you and $2.50 would be given to the school.
In May you would be
notified how much money you had accrued in your tuition rebate account.
This rebate would then be deducted from your tuition costs for the
following school year. Rebates are available to students of St. Ann
Regional as well as Wildwood Catholic High.
There may be some
parents who are financially able to afford their tuition without
consideration of rebates. To those parents we ask you to consider
participating anyway and letting our school reap the benefits of your
spending power. You could designate your portion of the rebate to the
school or to a family who would appreciate an extra hand. Sister Sheila
also has a tuition assistance account where rebate dollars can be
applied for those families in need.
