CYO is pleased to announce our latest fundraising effort that
has a green glow--good for a green planet and green to our bank
account!
Terracycle makes our trash into cool products.
We are starting off small. Join our Drink Pouch Brigade!
Save your drink pouches and deposit them in our collection box
in the school cafeteria. We will receive 2 cents for every
pouch we collect. Let's outsmart waste!
Go to www.terracycle.net
to learn more. Watch how well we do by logging on to our
account. Our username is SASCYO10 and our password is
wildwood.
We will add other collection items in the near future.
Next up will be wine bottle cork stoppers. Start
collecting them at home now and stay tuned for when our Cork
Collection Container arrives for your deposits.
April 29, 2010 Update....
We are off to a
wonderful start on our drink pouch collection (122
collected in our first two weeks!), and feel we are ready to
start collecting for the other “Brigades” we are signed up for.
Please start collecting any or all of these products to add to
our collection bin. These items can be saved in a bag and sent
in with your child to drop in the bin. Hopefully we can have
everyone collect these items over the summer vacation to start
the 2010-2011 school year thinking green!
Thank you for your
participation and support!
